Fourteenth District 2013 laminated particle board, oil pastel 915×610

Whistle of the northern cross wind, crash of the ice falling from the roofs, and croak of the crows, frightened by the passing trains. Apartment blocks with bay-windows opening on the railway constitute the Wall from "A Game of Thrones". The Wall, built from the ice blocks, runs from sea to sea and separates the civilised world of the Seven Kingdoms from lawless lands, overlooking the snowy deserts of the North. The street cleaners spreading the sand on the ice are the brothers of the Night's Watch spreading the stone chips on the slippery upper side of the Wall, described by George R. R. Martin.

The carving, used in this picture for the first time, is another step on the way to the King Graphite in the primeval land of dwarfs.
